RiverRATS Out-of-School Education Program

Our Out of School program combines hands-on STEM exploration with social and emotional learning through place-based experiences in local freshwater ecosystems. Students investigate real-world environmental topics – from stream health to water cycles — and make practice self-reflection through nature-based art. Our program is based on partnerships with other afterschool and summer camp organizations and prioritizes programs with low-income and underserved youth grades K-8.
